Celebrity gossip monger DeuxMoi has landed a buzz-worthy beauty collab. On Thursday, the mystery woman behind the Instagram account — which solicits its followers to submit celebrity sightings and rumors — debuted her first fragrance at luxury beauty retailer Violet Grey.

The perfume was created by DeuxMoi and indie fragrance brand Voyage et Cie, founded by Melanie Apple. Dubbed "Plage," the French word for beach, the tropical scent features plumeria, pikake, coconut, ylang ylang, and jasmine — not exactly the notes you'd want to wear to remain "anon pls."

DeuxMoi initially launched the scent on her own e-commerce site in early 2024. As reported by Glossy, she reached out to Violet Grey after deciding she wanted customers to experience Plage IRL.

The team-up makes sense — DeuxMoi's merch site, deuxmerch.com, already includes Violet Grey's makeup bag in its curated product selection.

“When you think about it, Deuxmoi is everyone’s source for Hollywood news, and Violet Grey is where Hollywood shops," Sarah Brown, Violet Grey's chief brand officer told Glossy. "It's all about the inside scoop: She’s got a celebrity scoop, we’ve got a beauty scoop."

Violet Grey was founded by Cassandra Grey in 2013. The store, located on Melrose Place Hollywood, quickly became a cult-y destination, thanks in part to the fact that Grey herself is something of a socialite.

Eleven years later, Violet Grey remains one of the industry's most prestigious beauty retailers, trusted for its strict product vetting process — everything sold by the store is curated and tested by a committee of experts including makeup artists, hairstylists, and dermatologists.

As for DeuxMoi, the anonymous creator is, according to Brown, a "beauty girl." In a popular series of posts, DeuxMoi compiled submissions recounting what specific celebrities smell like (for example, Taylor Swift allegedly wears Tom Ford's Santal Blush).

DeuxMoi's Plage is available now online and in-store at Violet Grey.
