It was only a matter of time before and wander and Altra Running met. The two brands have quite a lot in common, including their mastery of making stylish outdoor goods suitable for the mountains and urban jungle.

As they join forces for a Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration, and wander and Altra Running unveil a truly unique creation: the coolest laceless hiking sneaker of the season, packed with innovative features and fashionable flair.

At the center of and wander and Altra's collaboration is the Timp model, Altra's trail runner that's already quite charming on the eyes and equipped with nature-ready fixings. ROA is familiar with the Timp's game.

and wander is here to make it even better. After all, the Japanese brand has plenty of experience with trail shoes, including its quietly good shoes with Salomon and adidas' Terrex imprint.

and wander's Altra Timp is free of traditional shoelaces. Instead, the label incorporates a convenient no-tie BOA lace system, which allows you to adjust the laces via a dial on the shoe's sidewall. Neat.

The and wander x Altra Timp sneaker preserves the model's lightweight feel and extremely grippy Vibram sole, wrapping it in a pleasing all-grey colorway topped with Altra and and wander stamps.

Again, the and wander x Altra Timp is an SS25 collaboration between the two brands. So, it's safe to assume that we'll catch the breathable hikers during next year's wave of warm weather.

Although, sooner would be nice.
